Robin MacGillivray became president of what was then SBC West Business Communications Services in July, 2003 and is responsible for business market sales and customer service in California and Nevada.

She previously served as senior vice president - Strategic Process Improvement, where she oversaw the company's call center transformation, DSL improvement, and Sales and Marketing process standardization efforts.

MacGillivray joined the company in 1979 after receiving her bachelor's degree in journalism from the School of Journalism and her master's in telecommunications management from the Annenberg School of Communications, both at the University of Southern California. She completed the Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University in 1997.

She has worked in numerous company organizations and functions, including Engineering, Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Customer Service and Sales.
