The results are in! The San Francisco Bay Area Chapter (SFBAC) participated at the Hawaii Dragon Boat Race event, which was held on July 28 and 29, in relaxing Honolulu. The AT&T Dragons, the team representing 4A SFBAC, won first place in the Corporate Cup race. The team spirit was alive and strong, especially with a winning time of 2:03 minutes. Our team's competitors were other AT&T teams but they placed second and third with a time of 2:09 and 2:15, respectively.

During the two-day event where the weather was beautiful, the AT&T Dragons competed against the Honolulu Fire Department and the Honolulu Police Department, both a 16-man team. Although our team did not place as one of the top three, they finished close to third place.

Overall, the team was involved in five races on Saturday and two races on Sunday. By the end of the last day, everyone was DOG tired but not so tired to miss the victory dinner. It was held at Sam Choy's where the food was great but the camaraderie was better. Strategic plans are already in the works to win again next year in Hawaii.
