Disaster Relief Fundraising
APCA chapters have been organizing to raise funds for the stricken areas of China and Myanmar.
Southern New Jersey Chapter, in partnership with
New Jersey - Asian Diversity and Networking Group at IBM,
collected $25,159 at the AT&T Middletown R&D location over three days of fundraising in May.
The donations were sent to four relief agencies:
Doctors Without Borders, International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies
(via American Red Cross), Simply Help, and Tzu Chi Foundation.

Southern New Jersey Chapter celebrated Asian Pacific American Heritage Month on May 19 with
a lunchtime cultural show featuring performances by members and friends of APCA.

APCA presented an AT&T Cares Foundation Grant to the Union of Pan Asian Communities (UPAC)
to support their efforts in youth mentorship programs.
